A quaint little restaurant I came across in the suburb of Angel. Not to be frightened away by the wall full of stuffed and mounted deer heads, The Elk in the Woods is a great place to chill out and rest your feet after a hard days work of vintage shopping in the nearby Camden Passage.
For brunch I recommend the pancakes with baked cinnamon pears, goats cheese yoghurt & honey. And, just because we could, a side order of their hand-cut chips. I must admit I did raise an eyebrow at the pairing of goats cheese & honey, however the subtle kick of the goats cheese used turned out to be the perfect companion to the honey.
